Thor Tuscany engine access

I have a 2014 Thor Tuscany 40RX and would like to look at the air filter. How do I raise the indoor access panel? (I don't want to break the handles and it is not coming up easily).

The cover has a thin sealant tape installed in the track. It only sticks on one side but die to pressure or only adhered to the cover some as well. The chrome handles need to be turned a quarter turn to unlatch as well and the end with the handles comes up first. You may have to put some effort into it if the tape is sticking.
