Leveling jack alarm

Hi - new to the Forum and RV world. We purchased at 2018 Thor 27.2 in April. So far, minor issues and a couple of intermediate ones to work through, but overall happy to have the rig.

Question: Today as I was drive the rig out of the lot, the leveling jack dragged the ground and an alarm went off. I've heard it briefly in the past under then same circumstances, but now it won't turn off. I stopped the rig on level ground, turned off the engine, and deployed the jacks fully and then back up again until they stopped - alarm still on. I then tried the same process with the generator on - still alarming. Is there a reset that I need to press or did I perhaps jam something when the jack dragged??

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Mike

Mike, I am also new to the forum. I don't have an answer for you but am interested in future responses.

Our Challenger 37GT's left rear Jack occasionally drops after engine is shut off, usually over a period of a few hours. When I start the engine, it comes right back up & stays up, but maybe some day it won't!

Maybe we'll both learn something.....Gook Luck 😉

Did you try resetting the panel by pressing the 4 direction buttons at the same time?

I have not had a chance to check for such a panel. I may have misstated - these are stabilizing jacks not leveling jacks, so I don't think I have a four way button/panel to use.

I bought a 2018 31 S in May. During our test drive we found that the front passenger jack had partially dropped down. They inspected and reset the system prior to us picking it up. During a 6,000 mile shake down trip, we had continued problems with our jacks going into 'jacks down' alarms while driving. Back to the shop for a fix. Drove it home parked it on our flat driveway without dropping the jacks, and switched off the batteries. About a week later I saw the front passenger jack had again dropped.

Will be taking it back in, and the shop foreman will be working with LCI to solve this gremlin. When I have a update, I'll post it.
