My levelling jacks stay down with my slides extended most of the time the coach is parked at the house. If there is a long duration between trips I will go out about once every week or two and bring in the slides and lower the coach primarily to exercise the systems.
If the jacks are down for an extended period of time Lippert recommends spraying the jack rods with a silicone lubricant every week for protection.
