Vegas 25.2 TV's

I have been looking at the Vegas 25.2 and have a question or two but will start with the tv situation. I I don't have a lot of experience but was asking the salesman about the TV's and getting a dish or DVD player ect and I could not find the controller like on most motor homes they have a switch and controller in a cabinet or something like that but the salesman says it all just works through the newTV's?? Am I missing something?
Thank you for any help.

Jeff

just last weekend I installed a winegard g2-+ satellite dome on my 25.1 Vegas, and two dish vip211z receivers. the antenna switch on mine was in the cabinet above the sink. I removed the microwave where all the cables end up and totally bypassed the system and installed hdmi cables to my three TVs. you can buy a over the air tuner from dish or ebay that plugs into the receivers via usb port.

the salesmen is full of bull. on the Vegas the switch toggles between over the air antenna or cable of the camp ground by pushing the button in . you can hook a satellite to it also but all of the TVs will show the same program.

Dish tv

Thanks chopshop,

I knew you guys here would have the real answer. Ok when you say you ran hdmi cables to each tv, can you explain that a little more. I doubt that there were any kind of conduits. How was that done. I am I way out there thinking we should be able somehow to watch different shows even if one is on a dvr and one is on satellite. Even at the big rv show in Pomona ca all the factory reps acted like I was stupid and they said none of there rv's we looked at were wired to watch a different show say in the living area and bedroom area or inside and outside. Any thoughts.

Thanks
Jeff

the factory wires the over the air antenna to the amplifier, then to a 3 way splitter, then coax to the TVs. when you push the button on the amplifier the green light go's out and switches to campground cable or satellite what ever you hook up to the out side cable port on the side of the coach. I by passed the system only using the coax to the bedroom dish receiver. I have a second receiver in the kitchen cabinet above the sink. I then ran a 3 way hdmi splitter to the kitchen TV and outdoor TV. 3g cable from the roof satellite to the receivers. the only way you can watch 3 TVs with there own programs is to buy a top of the line winegrad traveler for about 1400 dollars plus installation. don't believe the sales bs , do your own homework they will sell you anything. I got one sales person so mad because I called him on his bs he walked away, lol
