2014 Windsport leveling issues

We are having automatic and manual leveling issues because the leveling system reports wrong front to rear and side-to-side angles. We can be parked on a nearly level pad and the system will report a -3.2 front-to-rear angle and a 2.2 side-to-side angle. The auto level fails because the angle is to large and in manual mode it forces me to extend the from jacks until the angle is less than 1.5 degrees which puts my front way high and the front wheels are off the ground by several inches. I had re-zeroed the system a month ago but the system has not retained that calibration. Any help would be appreciated

Ground the jacks manually then use the bathroom door to level. Place the door to a nearly open position and if it continues to open the nose is too high. Since the nose jacks are grounded try raising the rear a little at a time until the door doesn't move. Now move the bathroom door to the nearly closed position. If it continues to close you need to raise the right (assuming your bathroom is on the right side). Continue to fiddle with the manual level until you get the door to stay in any position. The first couple times is a pain to get it close to level but after a while you will do it instinctively. When you have some time, move to a level spot. Check it with a bubble level. Ground the jacks and reset the auto level.

If you've got a smartphone, and need a level: there's a couple of really good apps that you can download for free!
Unfortunately: I don't have my phone with me right now...

I carry a 24” level and a bubble level but the electronic controller insists that the angles be less than 1.5 degrees before you can do anything

Retract the jacks fully. I put the fronts down first until one touches; then I put the rears down until one touches. Touch the right to rock the coach slightly and then the left to rock the coach slightly. Lippert grounds the jacks with 300 psi but you don't need nearly that much if you are on pavement

Normally I would do something similar to this method but my issue is that the Lippert system reports angles more than -3 degrees front to rear when actually the ground is near level. In order to put down rear jacks the angle has to be less than -1.5 degrees. This results in the front end being to high.

I would call LCI. Their tech support was very good for the one time I needed to use them.

My guess is they will have you do some kind of reset, then the recalibration again.

Good luck

Most anything clear or semi clear with water in it may work. You just have to be able to see it from your leveling controls (or jump back and forth). Place it on a usually level surface (e.g. counter top)

Ideas:
Bottled water with ridges or making on the side allow you to eyeball it from multiple radii (angles).

Plastic container - measure a specific distance all the way around and mark it on each corner. Level the coach until the water touches all the marks at the same time. The larger the container's footprint, the better.

You get the idea. Good luck.

Want to get best level? Fill garden hose with water and hold ends at same point on trim line front and rear. Refill as needed. Water runs out low end. Same side to side. Note - slides will probably make a difference when extended so you may need to compensate for that. Best do do this starting with pretty level site.

Check your controller box ( not the control panel). It does the sensing and may have become unmounted. It is normally in the same compartment as your hydraulic pump mounted on the ceiling of the compartment.
