Looking for a new stereo receiver for the coach

I currently have a Jensen JRV212T, which aside from having 3 camera inputs, is not a very good unit. Does anyone know of a better Unit that has 3 camera inputs? I'm aware of the Jensen JRV215N, but at $650 it's a little spendy. I know I could get something with a single input in conjunction with a switching device to view multiple cameras, but I would rather not. A quick google search didn't turn up much, so I'm again hoping for the collective experience of all of you to enlighten me!

That is the thing: Finding something with all the capabilities of the 215 for under $1k is difficult.

You could go with a Pioneer unit but those are north of the $1k mark.

Is it giving you a problem, or are you just trying to avoid what the many of us have gone through? Mine was replaced under warranty with the 215N, and it developed a flickering display and a buzzing in the speakers. Will let the dealer look at that next week.

It is interesting that the Jensen has three camera inputs.

The Axxera radio has one camera input. Apparently the camera input switching is handled by a "black box" located in the dash.

With the Axxera there is a few seconds delay when you turn on the directional signal before the camera comes on. Is the Jensen instantaneous?

Perhaps the "black box" might be a solution for you to open up the selection of radios.

If you're interested, let me know and I will see if there any manufacturer info on the box.

You could also try an aftermarket car stereo installer.

It's not malfunctioning in any way, (yet). I just don't like its sound, and I don't like the fact that it has no controls for balance, fade, treble, bass, etc. basically, it's a great backup camera.

On the 212... Press and HOLD the Audio button (on left below Menu) until it beeps once... and voila - Bass, Treble, Balance, and Fader controls...

Not intuitive to find... stumbled on it saying it just had to be there...

You know, I thought it might be somewhere.... Thanks GMC, that will surely help, and in the future if a change is needed, the "black box" might be a option.

You know, I thought it might be somewhere.... I should have asked that question initially. Thanks GMC, that will surely help, and in the future if a change is needed, the "black box" might be a option.
