Lost wheel simulator

Don’t know how it happened but bouncing down I75 through Tennessee and Kentucky the right front wheel simulator managed to come off. It joins the two rear simulators on our last rig that we orphaned in Montana and Wyoming. So here’s the rub you cannot order one simulator naturally, they come as a pair or a set of four. The Kaper II simulators for our ACE are only available through Kaper. I called and got a pair of fronts ordered for (after browsing several different mfgrs)what I thought was a reasonable price $100.17. Young lady said the shipping should be around $25 so I bit the bullet, pulled out the plastic and ordered them. Today I get the tracking number and final invoice, shipping from Washington state to NW Indiana is $40 ! 40% over the purchase price. Ouch! Had I known the shipping was going to be 40% over the cost of the simulators I would have gotten a pair off Amazon and used my G Sons Prime acct. only reason I bought the Kaper II ‘s is the DW said they needed to match. I should have went with my original thought they are a chrome hub cap on a MH whose gonna look to see if the centers match front to rear......

Now that you've replaced it, put 2 zip ties through the holes to each wheel, and you'll never have to worry about losing one again!

You can also buy them locally at a lot of the truck "upfitter" shops. Do a search on commercial truck bodies...lots of them work silently in the commercial segment around you.
