MCD drop down front shade adjustment: Vegas 25.2

I have watched the Utube video from MCD:

MCD Windshield Shade Upper and Lower Limit Adjustment (2007-2017)

and had a very difficult time getting my shade into the program mode. After pushing the button 5-10 times, I finally got it to work. My shade was only going up to about 5" down from full close position. My shade now fully retracts and has it's stop just when it meets the dashboard.

The factory tour never told me about the little push button switch hanging down from the shade-I thought it was an experimental unit! MCD should come up with a better solution than to have a swinging switch hanging by a wire!
