2013 Thor ACE 30.1 chassis

I have a 2013 Thor ACE 30.1, and a few weeks ago was driving near Indy when I straddled what appeared to be a tie down strap lying on the interstate. As near as I can figure, the vacuum created by the mh passing over it caused the strap to get sucked up around the drive shaft. It bent the drive shaft, and pretty much ripped off the exhaust from the catalytic converter back.

A local truck repair facility replaced the drive shaft, but it's been a month now, and they keep saying they can't find out how soon the exhaust will be in.
I really think its a case of out-of-sight, out-of-mind.

I'd like to check around myself and see if I can find one available, but I can't seem to find the exact Ford chassis number that it is.

It says it's a F-Series super Duty, but wouldn't that be considered an F-450 or F-550? I've checked the manuals and the spec plate, but no luck.

Anybody happen to know which it is offhand?

Thanks,

Eric

I had a car side swipe me on a two lane road. The car grabbed the tail pipe and bend it back, The tail pipe bent the rear part drive shaft and damaged the center drive shaft bearing. Iron Horse RV fabricated a new 5" stainless steel cat back exhaust pipe with a nice 6 inch chrome tip. I now have a V-10 with a growl.

This is a;
Any muffler shop in any town can build you an exhaust system in a matter hours,
Thing.

There is no reason at all to await stock Ford parts...except inability.
If that shop can't network with a muffler shop...wow.

Make a call to a muffler shop then go get your rv.

It is an F-53 chassis, maybe the 18,000 or 22,000 GVWR flavor. I agree with Ducksface - take it to Midas.

Thanks for all your feedback. It was helpful. I gave the truck repair company 1 week to make it happen, or it's going to a local muffler shop who has bays large enough to accommodate the mh. Thanks again.
