Thanks for your review of the Sequence. Unfortunately I will be storing my Gemini here in NS for the winter as my partner has had a health issue which invalidates her travel health plan. It is a very sad day for me as I cancelled the bookings for some of my favourite Florida State Parks.

Here's to hoping that she is able to make a quick and complete recovery.

I’m hoping she gets better soon also, and is able to continue traveling.

Just noticed Thor added a second floorplan to the Sequence van camper, the 20K. It provides a larger kitchen area at expense of more crowded sleeping.

I like the up-front sitting much better for visiting with friends, and also fridge mounted higher for easier access. I’m curious whether gaucho-style sofa is comfortable for seating or sleeping. That’s usually a huge compromise with similar floorplans. Under bed storage may be reduced compared to first floorplan. Glad to see something new and different.

The site doesn’t have gallery pictures yet, but the interior can be seen on virtual tour — albeit distorted somewhat.

Thanks for adding to original topic.

Did the quote include any useful specs for what is included?

That seems like a lot of additional cost, but is similar to Volta system used on Winnebago Travato. It would be great to compare system capabilities directly between the two.

I’m interested but price is hard to justify based on what it accomplishes over the much simpler and lower-cost system offered by Coachmen. I’m hoping that if I get to Tampa Super Show they will have more useful information on all of these options.

But if you can wait a few years: the price will drop.,.

Waiting that long not an option. Whether lithium or not doesn’t matter as much as getting something; even if just for interim use.

Regarding price, I’m not expecting much reduction except for Fords built with OEM dual alternators. That might save some, but not that significant compared to $25k.

MHSRV in Texas said that they are going to get the Sequence after the 1st of the year. They are supposedly the only full line Thor dealership in the US, so they should eventually get both the Sequence and the Tellaro. They sell everything at a minimum of 25% off MSRP. So once they get some, the price will drop at other dealers. It always does.

This is a walk through at the factory of the new Tellaro - both models. It is almost exactly the same as the Sequence except for the interior colors and the fact that the rear bed option has opening windows in the rear - over the bed. Unfortunately, while the Thor documentation indicates that there are rear opening windows in both Tellaro models, it is incorrect. There are no rear opening windows in the rear bath model.

Thanks — very informative. I’m glad to hear they will have these Tellaro units at Tampa show. The new 20AT floorplan with bed at rear is more to my liking than those with rear bathrooms. It’s essentially like the Hymer Aktiv with a few modifications. There are some critical details that are difficult to see from video though.

First is whether the rear beds are long enough to serve as twins, or are they strictly for across-the-coach sleeping. Secondly, whether there is enough room between beds and overhead cabinets to sit back there (on bed) like they showed on the other floorplan. Beds look too high on video for sitting but can’t tell for sure.

I like the cassette toilet, and also the microwave up higher. Too bad fridge remains very small and under kitchen cabinet.

On video it looks like they have three windows. Strange that they eliminated the one in door which could provide cross flow to front living/lounge area.

I’ll definitely look at this floorplan if I get to Tampa.

P.S. — Wish that guy didn’t keep mentioning the 5,000-pound hitch. Specs show it’s only 3,500 pounds, and anyone who knows anything about ProMaster camper vans know that with only 11,500-pound GCWR there is no way to pull 5,000 pounds (unless you want to destroy the transmission in a hurry).

Good new!
Let's all hope that it turns out to be 100% correct.

Thor Sequence 20L vs Tellaro 20lt

Ready to buy, but now I see a new model that from what little info so far is near identical, any one see any major differences?

Thanks much.

Yeah, $25k base price is a bit high, and even if discounted by 25%, the actual/remaining ~ $19k is still serious money for the value it adds (at least for us). The main advantage for us would be ability to run air conditioner at night without a generator; which only applies in summer and when there is no shore power. Unfortunately the Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry still remains expensive.

There’s a slight price difference, so maybe there is some difference although I haven’t noticed it. Doing a comparison between both didn’t show anything different, but that doesn’t compare all specs. Floorplan looks identical to me.

I agree. Too high for me too, for the ability to run your A/C without a generator. You can pay for a lot of campgrounds with electric for $19K. Great idea and may be a real option if the price comes down. It will also be interesting to see how their resale value holds up. You may be able to pick up a used one for not much more than a 20L in a few years.
