They finally admitted to it but said its not a law to have them working.
I would demand that whoever made that statement put it in writing then forward the complaint to the NTSB.

Please, first post here (can I demand it?) where it says it is a law...
All of the dings are NOT alarms... they are reminders. There are indicator lights to indicate the abnormal situation.

You left your lights on. - Ding
You forgot to buckle up. - Ding
You are still turning? - Click
Check engine. - Ding
Your four-ways are on. - Click
Hey dummy, you want to leave your keys? - Ding-ding-ding-ding

You have the 'right' to leave your hazard lights on... some police may give you a ticket.
You are allowed to leave the keys in the ignition when you depart, but the vehicle may not be there when you return.
Leave your lights on, GM does not care, but they do provide a reminder for you so you do not have to walk.
What law?

Thor also has the "right" to NOT install a control module... even though the customer rightfully expected it to be installed as part of the transaction.

But... it seems like the customer PAID for it? What if Thor decided NOT to install the driver's seat... a part that is customarily expected? There are things such as "reasonable expectation" and "precedent" at play here. Is this missing component customarily installed in similar coaches? Is there SPECIFIC wording in the purchase agreement stating there is no recourse - even though the customer paid for the component?

If the situation is as you describe, I think you haven't found the "correct" person to have a conversation with just yet...

By "correct person" I was referring to someone within the Thor organization... NOT a thread poster. ...someone who has the authority to make an "executive decision".

Is the dealer ordering the parts?

My dealer did not order warranty parts for 2.5 months. Still waiting on a piece of sheet metal for the slide. Issues were verified Sept 30

Thor claims thay had to engineer a cable etc to fix the problem. I had a teck check it out and he said all GMs wire harness has been removed. This could be a big safety problem with no seatbelt warning sounds.
