At 11.2 volts, your coach batteries are 'dead'...
To charge (with any of genny, shore power, or chassis engine) the use/store switch must be in USE position.
When you say 'If I tried to run anything 12v in coach all 12 v shuts off,' - is this with the genny running??
With genny running (or on shore power) - the converter would be providing 12v to the coach... A bad converter could explain the not charging as well.
To test converter - disconnect the coach batteries, and measure the output of the converter with a voltmeter (with genny/shore power) Should be around 13v...
Search the forum for threads on genny turing off while driving... Several are having that issue - suspecting overheating.
