Glad to hear that you're "flattening mountains"; will a proper application of your right foot!

The service company was not forthcomming with why I had to bring it back, but i called Cummins and found out.
At that same time Cummins told me about the option to have the ECM prigram upgraded to the "360hp tune" which they said was a Cummins authorized and warranteed optional program and can be completed by any authorized Cummins service center using their InSite diagnostic tool.
The tune changes the hp and torque from (300/640) to (360/800) and cost me ~$500 and was worth every penny.

I’m considering doing the same upgrade on my Thor Palazzo would you still recommend it have you seen any issues?

No issues with the tune. Over 26,000 miles and still happy with the upgrade, although I was definitely jealous of a fellow camper we met with a small (~36') Newmar Newark with a 450hp 1250tq Cummins engine. It was a beautiful rig that probably could have towed my 33.2 up any mountain

Maybe it’s not an engine issue, most likely it’s how the transmission is set up, there are different setting for the Allison for either fuel mileage to more performance.
