Piezo Buzzer

I’m looking behind the Microwave, in the 2019 Axis 25.6, for a place to install an inverter. I see this “Peizo Buzzer” that is laying on the floor behind the drawer. One of the wires doesn’t appear to be plugged in. The tape is preventing the “Yellow/ White” wire from connecting to the + terminal. I’ve looked at the schematics but couldn’t find any information about this. Anyone have any idea what this buzzer is for?

Stabilizers deployed buzzer? I think that's what others have found when that buzzer goes off.

Thanks for the information.

It’s still parked in a snow bank so haven’t been able to use those yet.

When I do put them down I’ll hook it up and put the RV in gear.

Thanks,
Erv

I found the same thing under the kitchen sink by the water tank just laying there and it is all connected. Never heard it go off yet. It will be interesting if someone can answer this

My vote is stabilizer jacks down warning. Don't ask me how I know what it sounds like... OR how to straighten bent stabilizers in the rain...

I had Big Foot levelers installed, so I no longer need the stab jacks. But now I'm curious... I'll have to look under the kitchen sink area for that. I remember it was a pretty feeble alarm that obviously didn't get my attention.

I have the same 2020 version of your MH. Exactly what drawer did you find it behind. Been through mine doing minor repairs and have not seen anything that looks like that.
The previous owner of mine installed solar panels and an inverter. The inverter was installed in the back wall of the first storage bin to the left of the entrance door. Also placed the solar shut off in there. He ran a duplex socket below frig for 110 while boondocks. I plan hooking my frig to the inverter next week.
Hope any of that helps.

It’s the drawer under the microwave. Circled in “YELLOW” on the attached picture.

I don’t have a inverter yet, just trying to determine the amount of space that is available.

Just looking at that picture... look how the wiring is just strung willy nilly. The bulk of wiring in mine is under the bed where the electrical converges on the breaker box. When I first opened mine up to install my electric management box I just said... WOW. A real rats nest of wiring. Nothing organized with zip ties or anything.

Sorry about going off on a tangent... just a pet peeve of mine.

Sorry. Got busy pulling new cable and hooking up a new back camera and monitor. Talk about rats nests and crazy runs. Did you know your water pump is under your fresh water tank with no service entrance anywhere? The only way I see is to take out the outside shower to access. Sorry, tangent.
I will look in the morning. I'll try to send a picture of the inverter in my MH. Just for an idea. GVR

CN: The breaker box on the 25.6 is just to the right of that picture, under the fridge.

GVR: Yes I found that out about the water pump access and access to the valve to put antifreeze in when I was doing my winterization right after I bought the 25.6.

Scubawise mentioned it in a post that I saw.

Found it. It goes off when you turn on the ignition switch. I believe it warns you that the slide is out
To much stuff out to try it. Maybe later.
I will try to attach a photo of my inverter.

I'm a large person. About 2 feet at the shoulders. I can stick my head in and look next to the tank. Nothing else. My 10 year old grand son climbed into his waist to turn the valve back on from the previous owners winterizing. While running cable for new camera I was able to slide my phone down the left side and it looks like a surge suppressor under the tank. Could not get a good look at it. Try to find a better way.

Look at the pictures in “Post 18” in this thread by “bulletbob”.

https://www.thorforums.com/forums/f8...-mh-29657.html

The Magazine Rack comes out and you have access to area below water tank.

Thanks for that link from scuba. I did try that yesterday with about 10 more screws across the top but could not pull it off. With this info I will try again. Always afraid to break things when I move them for the first time. Thanks again to the both of you.

Did you figure out your buzzer?

In case someone doesn't know. FYI. The buzzer that started this thread goes off when the slide is out and ignition is on. It also locks out the controls to the slide. This is a 2020 Axis 25.6. I've heard others are different.
