Progressive Industries EMS?

Good morning all,

Looking to buy the Progressive Industries EMS for our 2019 Vegas (30 amp). Is there a particular model that I need or different adapters required? Appears that the EMS PT30X is the one I need....don’t want to find out when I pull into a site that I needed adapters to go with.

Thanks,

Don and Leslie

As long as you plan to plug it into the 30 amp receptacle: you're good to go!

Although it's not a bad idea to pick up s padlock and chain...

The 30 amp EMS will have a plug and receptacle for 30 amp service. No adapters required.

My RV already had a surge protector hardwired into it; do I added the Progressive EMS at the other end of the cord...

The EMS PT30X is the model I use on my Axis. Plugs right into 30 amp receptacle on camp ground pedestal, RV power cord plugs into the PT30X.

Not that it is likely to happen, but I attach the EMS to the pedestal using a simple combination bike cable to keep it from wandering off.

Get a 50a to 30a dogbone,,,

Add a dog bone to your collection. If your site is 50/30/20a at the pedestal and your 30a connection is questionable, noted by your EMS or just doesn’t feel right , loose connection, scorch marks etc, you plug into 50a with dog bone, good to go. I picked one up for $20. Nice to have if you are trying to find a site and all they have available is 50a service.

Yup! I carry dogbones that'll allow me to connect to either 50, or 20 amp plugs.
