Radio speaker rumble

2021 Four Winds with the Dash radio. There are speakers in both doors and two speakers above the couch. The problem is that there is a low rumble from the couch speakers even when I fade the speakers to the front. At first it sounded like distant thunder. Checked both speakers for wiring and they appear ok. They play music OK but still have the periodic rumble. Suggestions on how to diagnose and remedy?

Is this consistent, or only when you crank it up a bit to hear the tunes over road noise, or push the low end (bass setting)?

My first guess is a mismatch between radio output wattage and speaker capability. If so, it could go either way....

If the radio can't properly push the speakers, that's an indication you need a little more power under the dash.

If the speakers are overloaded; then you're looking at the possibility of "blowing" one or more.

If I set the fade to front, only the door speakers have music I hear no music from the two rear speakers but do hear a faint rumble. It's probably an impediance problem but I don't know.
