Russ, IF yours is like mine with a BIM, then there is a 15 amp fuse on the smaller wire attached to the house battery terminal on the BIM. That fuse supplies radio power

The BIM is located in engine compartment on the driver’s side.

Unhappy Dash Radio will not work

This is the strange part. My house batterys have gone down over time in storage. Once I got it home and connected 50 amps to the RV, and charged the house batterys, the Radio on the dash worked just fine. But, once the batterys reach full charge, then it acts like there is no power? to it. House lights and appl. work fine. Even the bedroom radio works but not the dash one.

I want to thank everyone for the help given. I finally found the reset hole on the dash and reset the radio, and now it seems to be working. I noticed that Someone had cut the ground wire going into the radio and run a ground wire all the way from the dash to the rear at the trailer light plug (40 FT). This was done right after we bought the RV back to Motor home spec in Alverado for repairs. I do not recommend this dealership or their service to anyone. I have called and asked for help, they wont even return my calls. So there you have it. Once again thanks to all and GB

It has been a while since I "toyed" around behind the radio, but I seem to remember an online fuse feeding either the radio or the radio memory..

The other thing, is if it is fed from the converter fuse panel is I have had a couple of wires that had broken off right at the terminal and you couldn't tell it until you actually checked each wire. Drove me crazy when the TV amplifier went out and all fuses were good..
