Yes, in most instances.

I carry 2 ten foot lengths... using only 10 when close enough - and combined 20 when needed... Extra hose just collects more crap - literally..
Haven't had a need for more than 20 at normal RV parks.

I carry two 10' lengths and have yet to use the second length. Every park we've stayed in had the sewer connection such that is was less than 10' from the coach connection.

I have a Rino hose that extends to 15', but my main hose is a Sewer Solution hose. Honestly, for a sewer system, I haven't found anything better. It acts like a macerator, but without any mechanical parts -- works completely on high pressure water. AND it will work on an incline, AND you don't have to worry about which tank to dump first. In fact, I leave the gray tank open all the time & just dump the black when we're ready to leave. The high-pressure water that macerates everything also cleans out the hose once the black tank is empty. I don't use it if I have to dump at a communal dumpsite, because it can take a little more time. Can't beat it, as far as I'm concerned.

I've pulled into a couple of spots where the sewer was waaaaay at the back and 20 feet was a stretch. I'll be adding a third 10 footer, but hope I never have to use it.
Regards,
Randy

Depends on if you have a bucket and like hauling! I'll be the prepared one and carry an extension. Besides, if your main hose springs a leak, you have an immediate back-up.

Install a Clean Dump and you can use the longest garden hose you want. I can even dump into my home sewer system because it pumps up hill.

I have three 10ft sections
I think I used the 3rd section exactly one time in the almost two years I've had the MH... and in that situation I could have fairly easily moved the MH a bit closer so it wasn't completely necessary
I've used 2 sections often

I have two ten foot sections and two five foot sections. That way I can start with a five foot hose for when I am really close and go up to thirty feet in five foot increments. I have had to go up to twenty feet but that's the worst it has been.

I have 1 15 foot, 1 10 foot and 2 5 foot sections. In most case I use the 10 foot from the gray/black tank dump into a Y with a 5 foot from the second gray tank also into the Y and then the 15 foot from the Y into the campground sewer connection.
On a couple of occasions, although not often, I have had to use the section 5 foot section as well when a campgrounds sewer connection was towards the front of the site rather than towards the rear of the site.
