Run A/C on garage outlet?

If I connect my 30A Windsport to my 20A garage outlet using an adapter and heavy orange extension cord can I run my air conditioner or am I causing a problem? Just want to run it while we are loading/getting ready to go.
Did it once before w/ no issues and breaker didn’t trip but based on what I read here am wonder if I’m causing a problem for the A/C unit? Might be better to use the generator on the coach?
Sorry for dumb question, newbie.

I always use my generator it doesn’t take much to trip the breaker.

The ac draws around 15 amps. So as long as you dont use anything else you should be fine.

But i would just use the gen to be safe. Plus the gen likes to be run. So used it

Mine stays plugged in 24/7 with a 100' 12ga Yellow Jacket cord...no issues and one of the A/C's stays on all the time. If you have fridge on 110v setting or the residential fridge turned on it will test the limits of breaker and strain the compressors when they kick in.
