Question 2016 Thor 29.3 tow wire harness

Hello
My lovely bride and I are new owners of a 2016 Thor A.C.E 29.3. We bought it a couple of weeks ago and are thrilled with it so far. Our concerns is that we would like to put our 2015 Honda CR-V on a tow dolly and was wondering if there is anything special we need to know before we take off next weekend. I would also like to know if there is a brake controller harness quick connect somewhere under the dash. And is there a specific wire harness to replace the cheapo 4-flat that came with it (shameful really). Anywho, I thank you all in advance for your advice and wisdom. Fred & Kris

There is a plug under your dash. There might be an adaptor with your instruction manuals but if not it's easy to get. It's just an older ford style brake controller plug. On the back of your rv there will be a blue wire that's stubbed off for trailer brakes. It might be taped over with electrical tape so you might need to look a little to find it.

If you have trouble finding it let me know. I can take a picture of mine and send it to you. I would think they would be in the same place. The plug is usually grey and to the left of the steering wheel under the dash.

I found it...after taking most of the wire jackets off. There are two blue wires. I believe it is the larger gauge wire, correct? Here is a picture, hopefully.

Nice job. Yes that's it. The larger blue wire is the one you want. Just don't go cheap autozone type controller. I went with the Prodigy P3 because I used to tow doubles and it could handle 4 brake axles. I took it out of my truck and put it in my motorhome when we made the swap. Prodigy makes a direct plug and play adaptor to plug any of there controllers right into your RV's plug.

Thanks for posting this question! I'm also trying to locate our brake controller wiring so we can install our controller unit as well. Was the blue wiring inside the white plug? It seems like I found a white plug with blue, green, red and white. I've attached a picture. Is this similiar to where you found yours?

Is there a reason why I would not just plug the wiring plug that came from the Thor in our manual kit? I've also attached a pic. I'm thinking I just plug that into wiring I found under dash then plug into a brake controller?

Sorry if these are newbie questions as we had brake controller installed previously in our truck when we towed a travel trailer but now've upgraded to the Thor ACE motorhome. I'm thinking we can just move our brake controller (Tekonsha 90160 Primus IQ) to use. We plan to dingy tow a car and other time maybe utility trailer with dirtbikes.
