Struggling with HVAC environmentals
If this has been discussed, please point me to the appropriate thread.
2018 Venitian A-40 floor plan. Non hot flashing wife, sleeps up front over the cab. We cant regulate temp on cold nights to keep her cool and me in the bedroom warm. I've tried several combinations of heat pump and furnace selection, while only asking for a modest temperature differential of say 3 degrees (65 & 68 respectively). I know heat rises but we've tried with the master bedroom doors opened and closed. I'm not convinced the doors delineate the same area front vs. rear as how the ducting is installed.
Outside Air temp has been cold, in the upper 30's, so I have tried auto on both systems with furnace selected on too. Last night I woke up to the front heat pump running the A/C and the rear system making heat with a temp at the master bedroom's bed level well over 90 in the rear.
Still haven't been able to solve the smartphone app pairing with the Vega/Mira system yet, which certainly would help and minimize trips to the thermostat in the middle of the night, but it's almost as if delay settings allow huge time and temps swings before triggering on and off limits. Maybe I have a bad temp sensor or perhaps I've obstructed it some how, but I don't even know where to look.
Maybe someone can point out where the actual temp sensors are located on my coach? I'm planning a return to the dealership in 10 days and will insist we solve my pairing issue, which I expect to help some but the long cycle intervals and huge temps swings are less than ideal for night time.

Couldn't you just lower your seat? Sorry couldn't help myself. My sensors in our Aria look like this, only black or dark brown.
Crap, can't get the image to load. They are small button sized plastic parts, one under cabinet in the living area, the other over the desk in the bedroom in our Aria

Electric blanket.
Personal
Singular
Easily set to desired temperature.
Inexpensive to buy
Inexpensive to use.
Repeatable temperatures across any season.
If you set them up with an Echo device and smart plugs, being sure to buy the blankets with analog and not digital control, you can control them by phone or voice.

Awesome. Found them both. That may help. They are both unobstructed.

I was thinking a small quartz heater, but you'd think in a newer coach they'd have worked out huge temps swings.

So a quick test, just breathing on the sensors results in a near instantaneous reading at the control panel. They seem accurate and very responsive.

I agree with the elec. blanket.
I always seem to fall asleep quicker with the warm blanket.
Reminds me... I sure do miss my old warm waterbed.

Something's wrong with the setup
We can easily control the front and back and keep it within 2 or 3 degrees

Thanks for nothing - now I miss mine too. California king. Forgot all about that dreamscape. Comfortable, warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Never needed A/C with that baby. Just set (or not) and forget. Change the sheets? That wasn't even as bad as trying to do it in my RV - and I have walk-around queen!

Actually, I have secretly been looking at them on Amazon etc.
I'm thinking of adding one in basement bedroom. Always perfect firmness. I've never slept so well in my life.

Talk about a thread hi-jacking
You turkeys have me thinking too. I had a single as a kid growing up, then a king pine "airplane" with drawer storage underneath in college that was so cozy I was able to live in a garage for a year in the midwest.
Ever had one's heater blanket go into melt down and burn through the mattress? I did...

That dark Jacobean stain on the 2×6 inch Pine Frame and Headboards. They just don't make quality furniture like that anymore. Never had the elec. melt down you stated. Maybe if I get one I'll start a waterbed forum & change my name to Rev. Hef.

If an electric blanket adds concerns: why not just get a comfy of extra-warm blankets for your bed?
You can at least toss them out of the way; if your Bride decides to pay you a "midnight visit"!

Not so sure this would work because of the totally integrated Vega MiraTouch system, but it might work as a last resort if I really want to bastardize the entire installation.

Hmmm... Cal king water bed in the rear of our ws31. That would be interesting to say the least! Can you say super light steering? Can you say bent rear overhang, too? I knew you could!! LOL
