2018 Miramar won’t switch over to shore from generator

Hooked up to power cord using a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter. Nothing. Does anyone know where the transfer switch is located if it doesn’t automatically switch over?

On my Miramar it is located in the box where the power cord is. Yes it does switch over automatically.

It won't switch if the generator is running.

Are your sure your 30 amp adapter is good? Is there a light on it to tell you it has power?

- do you have a 30amp breaker at the outlet? is it tripped?
- is your internal Main 30amp breaker in the coach tripped?

Then maybe it's not an ATS problem, but a Shore Power coming into the coach problem. Find your ATS and check the wire nut connections. Then break out your voltmeter and see where you have power and where you don't.

Found the problem. It was back at the outlet. Fixed and running again! Thanks for the help!
