Thor slide issues - Not like Tiffin's

For all of you that are complaining about slide issues. An interest recall is listed in Family Motor Coaching this month. It is NHTSA recall 15V297000 which involves certain Tiffin models.

Bottom line is moisture in the slide controller "could cause the slide to extend while the motorhome is moving, increasing the risk of crash".

An here I thought my awning deploying at 55 MPH was fun. This could really make someone's day.

We agree, Jamie!! 2 slides would be close to the perfect Axis for us!!

I'm curious, where exactly would you add it to your motorhome? You already have one in the front living area, and the Twin/King bed arrangement is by far one of my favorite design features of any Axis/Vegas. So would you add a second slide up front or add a bedroom slide? Kitchen? Where do you need more space the most?

We'll take our second slide in the bedroom with a walk around bed and bigger shower like the 25.3!

In our Axis, we much prefer sleeping in the king bed to the twins. While the plus sized king of the 24.1 is great, crawling in to it is not! However, if we can have only one slide then it has to be the couch slide of the 24.1!

On the flip side, we really like that the 24.1 has a bed that can be used for a quick rest without needing to put a slide out! Guess you truly can't have it all!!!!

We like the 24.1's "always ready" bed aspect also, and that the bed(s) can be left made-up during the day easier than bed mattresses that fold or slide.

The only thing that would make the 24.1's bedroom even better for us is if they could configure the twin beds to work like day beds for sitting as a lounge area. I've seen some old motorhomes that combined the rear bedroom and lounge area; in some cases adding a table for eating or playing cards, etc. Many Class Bs combine long rear dinettes with twin beds. Other motorhomes like the classic GMC turned the rear dinette lounge area into a bed, although transverse across the motorhome.
