Your broiler will normally heat to 500 - 550F. So the flame is on to try and reach that temperature. Check the color of the flame as it may not be getting enough oxygen mix and the flame isn’t hot enough. The port may be partially plugged
And need cleaning.

The stove is new. I checked the burner and the flame is blue. It just won't get hotter than 375. I use a in oven temperature gauge also new.
thanks for the reply. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.
The front center burner has flame back and melted the plastic bushing.
Have talked to Atwood ( now Dometic ) they were no help.

Defetcive temperature sensor or your Oven Needs to Be Calibrated

The calibration dial will be located on the back of your temperature knob or down at the bottom of the small shaft. You should be able to see an adjustment screw on the dial. This screw is where you can adjust the temperature. To increase the temperature of the oven, turn the screw clockwise. To decrease the oven temperature, turn the screw counterclockwise. In most ovens, a half of a turn should increase/decrease the oven temperature by 25 degrees.

Will that make it get hotter? The burner stays lit all the time just won't get hotter than 375.

That should increase the temp by letting more gas into the burner. Or a defective thermostat is not letting it go above 375.
