Thumb latches on outside storage

2015 Vegas , loooking to replace latches , Amazon gives you two sizes 5/8 and 7/8 Where is this measurement taken ?

That dimension is the length of the threaded part. I bought some of each to replace the locks on my hatches. Why you need to lock a hatch to the dump valves is beyond me; but hey maybe people could dump your black water at your campsite- yuuuch!

In any case the long ones worked on most of the hatches. I think the short one worked on the shower hatch. You could take off the locking ones and measure to be sure.
