Question Waste tank Pump

I have a 2017 Axis 25.2. Just ordered a Flojet Macerator portable pump. I have a septic at home and plan to pump the black and grey tanks into it. The reviews of this model were mostly good however the Utube videos just say to hook it to the 12 volt battery. Ok, exactly how does one do that? What battery should it go to and (dumb Q) where is this battery? The kit does not contain the wire for this hook up, what gauge/type wire will I need? Not too technically inclined.

Do you have a 4" clean out plug for your septic tank? If so and you can park close to it you don't need the flowjet, you can dump directly in to the septic system. I don't know where your batteries are located but the flowjet should have clips you attach directly to the battery when you need to use it.

You don't know where your house batteries are located?

House batteries on Axis/Vegas are usually under the entrance step.

Waste Pump

Thanks all for the advice. We just brought the Coach home 2 weeks ago and CW did not do a great job of familiarizing so there are many things that are still a mystery to me. My septic is about 75 feet from my house and would not be accessible by this Coach. The Flowjet states it can push macerated waste about 100 feet thru a 3/4" hose. I will look for the Coach batteries (under the stairs) and hopefully if a wire comes with the kit it will be long enough.
