Why do I keep losing right rear Snap Pad?
I installed Snap Pads on my Chateau class C leveler feet. For some reason I keep losing the one on the right rear. I've replaced it 4 times now. After the first couple of times I installed a new metal footpad since the old one was kind of bent and I thought that might be the problem. But I've continued to lose the Snap Pads after installing the new footpad.
This only happens on the right rear. I've never lost one of the others. When I installed the last one I made sure it was fully installed and secure. Any ideas why this keeps happening?

Check dimensions, snap pads should be pretty hard to get on. You could also put some black adhesive, car auto. Same stuff they use for car molding. $6 Amazon.
Good luck.

Contacting Snap Pad would be my suggestion.

Does it always scrape on your driveway?

What chassis are you on. My s2rv chassis on my super c loses the right rear because it hits the the sway bar which knocks it off
I put two bolts threw the snap pad up into the jack pad and nylon nut to hold it on. No lost oad in over 10000 miles

Must be where they installed your jacks. My S2RV hasn’t lost a pad yet and they’ve been on for a couple years

I havent lost any. Lots of Renegade owners complained about losing the right rear snap pad. So I used the bolt when I first installed them. I bolted both read pads. One Renegade owner mounted a Go Pro and filmed the suspension hitting the pad.

I can't keep either side on the rear because they are so close to the ground. I can only raise the passenger side jack. the Driver's side will hit the fuel line. My thoughts are to bolt them on or attach a tether wire so the pad is not lost. Lost one and never found it.

Mine is a 2018 Chateau 31E class C. The leveler is not near the swaybar, and it doesn't scrape on my driveway. The rear levelers are pretty low when retracted, and they could be hitting things while traveling, but it's strange that I'm only losing the snap pads on one side.

Just a though. It's not unusual for one side of an RV to be a little heavier than the other. If that side is the heavier side, then that pad would be more prone to hitting things.

I ended up losing both of my rear snap pads because the jacks are so close to the ground. ANY incline from a curb would cause a strike. I took it to a mechanic and had him raise the rear jacks by one hole. Haven't had a problem since.
