Winegard Pathway X2 DISH antenna

Hi All!

Merry Christmas!

I just bought the Winegard Dish Antenna, portable model, and according to dish it should be one cable connection to the RV but I found the RV port is for regular antenna and regular cable and does not accept dish antenna because dish antenna needs only very slight power.

The RV is "satellite ready" but I'm not mounting it on the roof.

Does anyone have experience with this? Is there an adaptor that would work? I'd rather use the RV's port. Is there a simple fix?

I had the same problem. I ended up pulling the "cable" connection off the back of the antenna power supply and instead connected it directly to my Dish receiver. Works fine. Then I ran from the Dish receiver back to the antenna connection to supply Dish to the other two TVs.

I'm trying but my knowledge is so lacking. Where did you find the antenna power supply?

Ours is in the cupboard behind the TV. Location varies depending on your model. It is where the cable runs from the antenna to the TV. Same place where you press the button to turn it off for cable.
