Mercedes Benz Sprinter Jump Seat

I have a 2018 Thor Siesta 24SS and have been looking at a jump seat that fits between the driver and passenger seats. It allows a third person to sit up front with a shoulder/seat belt. The seat is listed at Shop4Seats under Sprinter Jump Seat. Has anyone else out there with a MB Sprinter bought and installed this seat? I have a local R V repair shop that confirmed they can install it. It uses the bolts that hold the driver/passenger seats in place so there is no drilling new holes. I talked to a sales rep who told me it will not interfer with the parking brake lever or the swivel seat function of the driver/passenger seats.

A little more information is that the seat has a quick release lever in order to remove it if not needed. You lift the lever and the seat tilts forward and you then lift it off of the base. They come in 3 colors(black, grey and sand/tan). I have requested samples of the colors to determine which color I would pick out before ordering.

I've looked at them, and it appears that they use the inboard mounting holes for the other two seats. In order for them to still swivel: you'd need to remove the jumps seat. I'm not sure about the parking brake operation with it in place...

The company rep that emailed me specifically said that the seat will allow the parking brake to function without any issues.

The fit and finish of them look to be pretty good; it's too bad they don't offer it in White...
