Heater floor Vents

I have a 2013 Cruiser 305SKP. In the living area there are four floor heating vents. One is by the kitchen sink, the next one is in front on the oven, the next one is about 18" from the one in front of the oven, and the last one is in front of the entertainment area. The reason I ask is I had a 2007--30SK (same floor plan)and it DID NOT have the vent that is 18" from the one by the oven. (2007 only had 3 vents in living area) I am wondering if someone bored a hole by mistake and just stuck a vent there?????

I would like to hear from late model 305SKP owners as to how many heating vents they have in the main living area.

turn it on - feel the register and see if it's hooked up

if so, better distribution, if not,
pull of the vent, see if the tube came undone and reattach,
if no tube, close it off with 'alien wrapping' (tin foil !)

Tommy, if I was you, I would pull all the registers off and use a mirror and flashlight to look around in there. Check and see if all of them are connected to the heat run, and taped/sealed. If they are, I sure can't see any problem with an extra one, but if it bothers you, or the heat isn't being distributed evenly, you can buy new covers that are able to be shut off.

My vent ducting fell off in the bedroom in our Rushmore. Only connected with foil tape..I use 4 sheet metal screws to fix it correctly, then used foil tape to seal it.
