Running 3 ac

Recently bought a 2011 Thor 42rq. When it's plugged into 50 amp service can you run all three ACs?

Second, have you ever heard of someone replacing a 8k generator on a 42rq with a 10k generator.

Finally, the driver side window by the driver is cloudy, is there anyway to fix it?

Wade

No problem with running 3 A/Cs on 50 amp SP. That's 240 VAC service so essentially 100 amps at 120 VAC.

8KW generator is 67 amps at 120 VAC. That's 3A/Cs with power left over. Never heard of an 8 to 10 KW generator swap out.

50 Amps should be enough for 3 Ac Units

I'm sure 50Amps is enough to run all 3 A/C units. but probably not a good idea on a 30 Amp feed.

I'll pass on the other 2 questions

We try to avoid boondocking in extremely hot weather however a few times we have been in 100 degrees plus

I run the generator and all three AC's plus whatever we need until it cools.

The EMS will load shed if we exceed the generator however, we have a 10k and the EMS works extremely well.

No issues of course when on 50-amp shore power other than the extra charge as we tend to find campgrounds that charge for KW's above the daily allotted rate
