Montana High Country

We are in the process of searching for a new RV. One unit that has caught the eye of my wife is the Montana High Country 385BR. She really like the spare room concept for fu) time living. My question is how is the build quality on the Montana High Country units? We currently hav a Four Winds 28Z class C and we are not impressed ata all with the build quality. We have had numerous issues with the level of materials and the ]oor workmanship of it. Since both companies are part of Thor, we are a little shy about this unit.
Thanks for any and all input.

When we initially started full timing it was in a 2008 (4 year old unit) Montana 3800RL fiver. We traded that in on a new 2014 before getting off the road for a couple of years.

I did a lot of research on different fivers. I honestly think that Keystone Montana fivers give you a lot of bang for the buck. There are several more expensive fivers on the market but for our money we felt our Montana units were a decent value.

You can buy a $350,000 DP and still have quality issues. I would check the Montana Owners forum (MOC) to gain some valuable insight. I learned a ton about both Montana RVs and camping in general from those folks.

After much searching and comparing build quality, we have dropped both theHigh Country and Montana off the list of potential 5th wheels. Looking elsewhere.
