For many years we bought farm diesel around 50 cents per gallon before things changed back in the late 90's

Sounds like fuel will start climbing as soon as the economy is "released" but hopefully we won's see the 4 dollar fuel we dealt with for a few years

I remember well swiping my credit care 4 or more times to fill up and not nearly empty

Perhaps we should all put a couple of thousand gallon tanks in the back yard...

Diesel

Diesel is 94.6 cents a litre in Ontario. Multiply that by 3.87 and that's our cost per gallon. Nice eh?

While I love the way you think, do that and the feds will confiscate it and the EPA will fine you, as well as the local government for violating permits and zoning laws If there's money to be made, your government will be there with their hand out - or you could be doing it at the wrong end of a .38.

And it almost GWS that fuel wouldn't be this low if nothing happened. Supply and demand. Gotta love it...

Wonder if they got anything for being cooped up these past months...

I'll tell them that I'm putting it in for fuel oil for my house.
We don't have any statutes forbidding buried fuel oil tanks...

LOL

And to this: "Wonder if they got anything for being cooped up these past months..."

On second thought, they do. It's called alcohol and sales are supposedly through the roof.
