PEX Diameter

DOES anybody know the diameter of the PEX plumbing on a Thor Freedom Traveler Class A?

I am assuming 1/2".

Typically all PEX and associated supply fittings in Thor motorhomes is standard 1/2". If you want to be certain what yours is, go to a big box store and purchase a simple 1/2" PEX coupling. Then find an easily accessible fitting in yours, and swap it out to see if it fits.

Download the plumbing diagrams for your coach and read the materials list.

1/2-inch pex is pretty much standard unless you get into some smaller rigs and you might find 3/8 pex

The big exception on motor homes is the pex around the Diesel Burners is typically 5/8 pex which is a bit hard to find

I put a three way valve and a cross over on zone 2 to avoid having hot water recirculate when I have on the AC and took a bit to run down the 5/8 pex three way valves and a bit of 5/8 pex

As noted the build sheet should specify 1/2 inch for general plumbing

I have carried pex fittings and a tool for 25 plus years and luckily never needed it

Should you need repairs the cinch type tool is easier to maneuver in an RV unless you buy a swivel head crimp unit which are a bit pricey

I think that's a good assumption. No reason to use 3/4" pipe.
