15/20amps vs 30amps
I have a 2017 ACE 29.2 with a 15k btu air conditional, can I safely run it with 110V 15/20 amp service or do I need the full 30 amps. The place I plan to stay over the 4th only has 110😳

All cg pedestals are 110. What you need to be concerned with is amps. The a/c uses around 15 amps. So if nothing else in the motorhome is running it will work. 20 amps should be the minimum you plug into.
If you run other appliances, water heater, microwave, etcwith tge ac youll most likely blow the breaker

It'll work if you're REALLY careful about your power usage...
If you've got the AC running: it's best to make sure that nothing else is.

Your Coleman Mach 15 will draw about 30 amps for 1 second then settle down to a 14 amp draw. After an hour or so on a hot day, the continuous draw will be 16.5 amps. If the A/C is hot and recycles it will probably trip a 20 amp circuit breaker., so best to leave on the coldest setting and low blower speed.

But there are other factors. If your batteries need charging or you have an outside fridge on the inverter it can be a lost cause. My typical draw is 19A with the air running. Not much room there.

Don't put the water heater on electric. We just stayed at a 20 amp connection this weekend. Running the AC at 17 amps max was fine. Adding the microwave for under a minute was fine. Adding our 1 Cup Keurig was fine. Turning the water heater on electric tripped the breaker after 4 minutes. YMMV

No doubt: it's possible; it's just going to be a real "tightrope walk"!

yep, but most of us forget that 'other' things are also running on the 120v system at the same time - if you forget to turn off the 'elec' water heater/switch, the 'elec' fridge/switch, or even TVs, receivers, computers, charging devices, etc., you may find that running the AC unit will work for a few minutes, then the outside 120v outlet breaker will trip.
It's not that the 120v outlet, whether 15amp or 20amp, can't handle the AC unit, it's the 'other' items that are stacked on the same run of wiring that overheats the breaker to the point it trips, which is exactly what's it's designed to do.
Also, if you are having to make use of an extension cord, also make sure that it's not too long for the need, and sized large enough to handle the amps you are running thru it. Generally a large thick 'contractor' type extension cord is best.

You say the place you are staying at only has 110...does that include 30A plug or do you know you are limited to a 15A or 20A plug? If so...blow and go. 110 can include a 30A plug-in.
