1994 Thor 270 water pump no power

So we are going through our new to us motorhome and found out that the water pump is not working. I've checked all the fuses (that I know about) in the overhead panel in the back beadroom. Pulled the control panel off from the stove hood and checked there - no power to the switch. Did a 'test' with a 12v batter directly wired to the pump and it works and cycles as it should.

My question is does anyone know where there may be another hidden fuse panel of some kind?

We are heading out in couple weeks and where we are going there will not be a water source so sure would like to be able to use the switch to fire up the pump...

Thanks in advance

Ed

Thor probably doesn't even have a wiring diagram.
Power to/through the switch?
Some water pumps are relay controlled - have you traced the power wires from the pump to the switch?

Have not dug into it that far yet. Not getting any power at the switch when i test with multimeter.

Will have to block out a bit more time to dig into tracing wires and see what I find.

So looks like there is no power getting to the water pump switch at the control panel above the stove. I can hotwire it from the light switch to the water pump switch and the pump comes on and works as it should. I tried to track the wire from the switch over to the fuse panel in back but didn't have any luck there. Its a very nice looking fuse panel but not one thing is marked and all the fuses are good.

Part of me wants to hotwire it from the stove light switch so i can get power but i did resist the urge to do that. I'd rather not cause any other issues by overloading that little wire trying to run the pump.

Guess I'm at a standstill now and will just deal with it as is and use a water jug instead till i can figure out how to take the hood off and start tracking what is supposed to be the source wire and see why I'm not getting power to the switch.

Its always something
