2015 Challenger 37LV OTA Antenna

Good day everyone, We have had this motorhome for about 45 days now and duding our last two trip I was not overly impressed with the current batwing antenna. Since then I realized you can and should rotate the antenna which we will try next trip. My question is, did these batwing come with a RF AMP already installed? I haven't see were to turn it on which is why I'm asking.

Oh btw, is there a switch to move from OTA to cable?

Look in all the cabinets closest to the antenna. Most will have a little button to turn on and off with a green light on when activated. Attaching to cable will require turning it off.

Yes, the amplifier is in the batwing head unit. Gritz has told you how to find the switch for the power injection to power the amp.

Yes, it is a directional antenna. I use the Antenna Point App on my phone to decide where to point it at each campsite.

The basic batwing antenna is good for VHF stations (OG 2-13). Not so good for UHF stations which a lot of the stations have moved to since the digital signal conversion. It you don't have it, purchase the Winegard Wingman UHF antenna bolt-on. It really helps with those UHF stations.

On a 2015 Challenger look in the area by the HDMI switch. Use a flashlight because the button is extremely hard to see.

LOL I didn't know there was an HDMI switch but will get to looking. At least now I know there is something to look for.,

In the 37ND in the open area on the left is the DVD player, then the HDMI switch, then an open area. Inside the open area towards the back is a 120VAC outlet and the antenna switch.
