Any suggestions on best extension cord to connect my RV to house power at home?

There is no "best".
You have to get a cord that meets your requirements.

Anticipated load

Connecting a 12 foot cord to do nothing more than keep your batteries charged can be done with a simple 16 gauge outdoor cord.

Running the A/C 100 feet away from the plug is at the other end of the requirements and should use a 10 AWG cord as a 12 AWG cord will drop over 5 volts with that anticipated load.
