2016 four winds sliding door parts

I own a 2016 Thor four winds. The sliding doors to the rear bedroom fell apart at the hangars with in a few months of ownership. The dealer worked on them and apparently replaced the doors and neglected to save the catch on the bottom of one door. Now when the first section is moved to the closed position it does not catch the second door and leaves a large gap. The second door kinda just "flops" around for lack of a better word. The dealer states there is no listing for this catch. Can someone help me? I'm so fed up with our new rv sitting at the dealer for silly issues.

My 2017 29.3 ACE, I beleive may have the same door set up. In mine the leading door has the locking parts to keep them open. The trailing door at the bottom leading edge is a piece that is screwed to the trailing door. That piece then has a small pin that follows a cut out track in door one. If that makes any sence to you. I am having a problem (on second set of doors) with the pin coming out of the track and the trailing door slamming into the wall thus damaging the door. Hope this helped.

Yep, same set up. The dealer replaced my doors under warranty and omitted the pin that slides in the slot. Our door would do the same thing as yours. The dealer cannot find the pin in any parts books.

Are these doors manufactured by Thor? If so, they have all the hardware needed to assemble and mount the door -- so why can't a dealer get the pin and or catch from where Thor assembles the doors?

If the doors are sub-contracted and sent to the Thor factory completely assembled, why can't Thor Customer Service contact the company making the door and get them to send the pin and/or catch?

Someone somewhere in the system has a drawing with a parts breakdown showing the part number of the hardware items. Even having a part number should help find a source for the hardware.

Has anyone tried calling Thor Customer Service directly?

I am going to try. Better yet I should take a ride to the plant as its 30 miles from where I live.

Visiting the plant -- what a great idea!!! Hopefully they'll let you rummage around in their bench stock bins for the door parts. Keep us informed.

I decided to stop by the dealer and see if maybe this part is on the books now. The parts dept is researching it. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
