2018 MIRAMAR 35.2 entry door lock issues

The dead bolt lock on our entry door isn't always disengaging even when the knob is fully turned. We haven't been locked in or out yet but my fear is it's just a matter of time. Anyone else have this issue and found the problem or solved it?

You say door knob..are you talking about the door latch or the deadbolt?

The dead bolt engage twist knob. Even when fully in the disengage position the door will not always open. Hope that makes sense.

I've never had mine not disengage, however, sometimes my door sticks. I have traced that problem to the screen door catching...not fully unlatching...I lubricate it often.

This is beyond sticking and not coach level issue. Even throwing a hip into it will not bust it open. Just trying to avoid a trip to a dealer if i can figure it out

There is a lot on this forum about those locks breaking by I've not heard of one working sometimes or occasionally not fully disengaging. I suggest you call Thor customer service... They can be very helpful.

Just curious... I see you're from Iowa. Where did you purchase your Miramar?

We had this issue with our 2018 Miramar 35.3. I noticed there was plastic around the opening for the deadbolt in the frame that was catching the deadbolt. We had a really hard time locking the deadbolt and unlocking it and our door would also stick. I removed it and we no longer have any issues.
Hope this helps.
