Controls locked by ignition

Hello,

We have a 2019 Thor Palazzo when we try to slide out our slides we get a message, " Controls locked by ignition". We shut off our main power and turned the ignition on and even started the engine and shut it off. We still can not slide out our slides. Has anyone experienced this issue who can provide some guidance? Thanks,

Try resetting your Firefly system by turning off your use/store switch for 60 seconds. Don't know if that will help, but it might.

Did you take the key out of the ignition?

thanks it still is locked.

I'm having the same issue with my Thor Tuscany 45MX (2023 model). Tried unplugging from shore power, waiting a few mins, plugging back in. Even disconnected, brought the jacks up, slides in, moved a few feet, then put the jacks back down, slides out again, turned off engine, connected to shore power again. No luck. Driving me insane and I have no idea how to reset the Firefly. I'll be honest this vehicle is a lemon.

Our 2021 Aria slides only work if engine is running and air brake engaged.

Our 2021 slides only function with the motor running and the air brakes engaged.

Engine running

Parking brake engaged

Slides should be operational with hydraulic pump available

I use manual leveling dumping air to start the process

Extend slides

Turn off Engine

Thanks for the feedback, but I have the engine off and the parking break engaged. System still thinks the ignition is on for some reason. I noticed in the Firefly screen that there is a red light/fault next to the Gen Status / Fault input under G12 #2 Inputs. Night shade and sun shade are still blocked from going down, can't move awnings out, etc. See attached images.

SO no idea: I would contact customer service at Thor via their owner support. DO NOT CALL. Fill out the form, they have always gotten back to me. If you tell them on the form they can search for answer prior to responding.

Called Thor support, no help. Was able to get a hold of the dealership service tech who had me turn off the house battery, set the battery disconnect switch to the off position, dump air, reset the battery disconnect switch to on position, turn on house battery, hold foot on the break while unsetting parking brake while in neutral, and setting the parking break. I'm not sure if it really needed all of these steps as I believe the issue was related to the air brakes but it worked regardless. Just providing an update here in case anyone else had this issue.

Issue is back and workaround isn’t working! Ugh

I’m having this same issue with the G12 #2 inputs with 7 Gen Fault. When I turned the ignition off after putting the jacks down and letting the slides out the unit states that the ignition is still on and is locking controls, locked by the ignition lock. I cannot figure out why this keeps happening because with that ignition lock on, I cannot extend the awning I cannot lower the nightshade all the way, the front TV does not work and other controls locked by the ignition lock even though the ignition is not on. Any ideas?

I’m having a repeating issue.
