2018 Thor outlaw Brake pedal pad?

Here is an odd question. We are closing on our new 2018 Thor Outlaw on Monday then taking delivery Wednesday. One thing I noticed on the walk through was the brake pedal had no rubber pad on it. The salesman (being a BS salesman) said he thought there was never a rubber pad on it and that's the way it comes. I'm thinking not. Anyone else receive their new MH with a bare metal brake pedal?

My ACE came with pad, I would make them get one before you take delivery. Most likely they will take one off a unit in the lot. That's what may have happened to yours.

Yes, it almost seems like a safety issue to me. Especially with a wet shoe, etc. I'm going to press the issue for sure.

Don't you just love the active imaginations of most salesmen?

A good salesman will tell you what he thinks you want to hear. An honest salesman will tell you the truth, a very rare occurrence. JMHO...

Honest Salesman?
Aren't they even rarer than the Politician who puts his hands into his own pockets?

Just wanted to close this out. They did install the pedal pad before I picked it up. They also noticed the tilt steering adjustment rod was missing ( I missed that) and got one put on.

Being in sales and marketing my entire working career. I will assume this discussion is focused on RV sales people. The sales rep we work with stopped us from making a huge mistake. We were going to buy a Nexus Viper 29’. After he asked us many questions about how we were going to use it he told us it may not be the right MH for us. The reason was not enough storage for us and 3 Irish Setters. Showed up the Thor 31Z. AND it was less than the Viper. Not sure but that sounds like a sales professional to me. I have sent him several referrals. He sends me an email every time weather they buy or not. Maybe I got lucky?
