that's how they all are pretty much. I had red flagged that in my walk through, but they wouldn't fix it...because they said that's the way they all are...and form what I've seen they were right.
I don't think it's how it should be, but what are you going to do. I always planned to rig up a repair but never did and its been fine all these years

My 2020 Chateau 28Z looks the same. I am also getting occasional water behind the drives seat. Will be going back to the dealer. Be interested in how things have worked out for you.

My 25V Chateau is the same. Some months back, I parked on an angle (towards the passenger side) and it rained. Water poured (well, seeped) right in all over the floor. After investigating, I found what you are seeing. I was still under warranty and Thor sent two "drip cup seals" to my service shop. They'll be installing them next week.

I have the same concern with my rig. I'm getting a small leak under my bed and night stand near the rear of the coach. I've calked the trim on the lower right rear corner of the slide, which helped some. With the slide out I can still see water dripping on the inside of the trim, underneath, which then makes its way into those open drain channels and into the coach. When it rains, the water really comes off the rear right corner of the roof and runs down the side of the coach. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Oh, and the rubber seal buckles under at the rear right corner when the slide closes. I've sprayed it with conditioner and it still buckles under for about a couple of feet.

I also caulked at the end of the track where it meets the slide.. I will add pictures if you would like... also does it leak while slide is closed ?

Paul, I can say after I caulked those areas I have not had any water in the RV after the rains I will say I do level the RV just a bit lower on the slide side to be safe but again since I caulked those areas I have not had water. Other things I would check is to make sure your seals are against the RV When slide is closed. As far as those drip cups I’m not sure what that idea is when rain gets in between the two seals I’ve never seen any water in those during rains and I do check them so if it’s supposed to be the water that runs down in between the seals where the motors are it doesn’t happen on mine

Thanks for the pics! I caulked those same areas on the out side of the trim. Yesterday I caulked along the horizontal trim at the bottom as well as the vertical trim on both sides. Will check after the next hard rain. The seals are compressed when the slide is closed so I'm thinking the leak is coming through the trim. Do your seals bunch up on the bottom?

No mine do not bunch up on the bottom the only other thing I can think of that I did and forgot to mention was on the wiper seal on the side of the slide On the side where it is mounted to the RV where all the screws are I had a couple of gaps that I caulked It appeared that it was separated from the RV

Thanks for the reply we'll get a lot of rain from Sally so that'll be a good test for my caulking.
