ACE sewer setup

I have an ACE 30.2 2016. My sewer hose just barely fits on with the door open. I can get it attached, but I have to jam it in there to clear the bottom of the door opening.

There is a screw cap underneath the outlet so that perhaps I could attach a hose with the door closed, but it doesn't line up that well and it doesn't look like there is room for an elbow to fit there either.

I attached a picture, is there something I am missing? Or is this just how it is?

The elbow swivels down. And you unscrew the access port.
1. Open access port by removing cover
2. Swivel the elbow down to the now open port.
3. connect drain hose from underneath.
4. commence with the draining...

Once you get your outlet adjusted (it will take some force)
I have one of these on the end so you to see if the tank is clean and also allows you to swivel it ILO your fittings.

Hope this helps

Ha! That is awesome. I read this about the swiveling, I looked at it, and then didn't believe that matched what I was looking at. But indeed...it does work.

I still have to disconnect it since it is freezing at night, but that is better than leaving my door open.

I don't disconnect at night if in a park with full hook ups

I keep the hose on and if you're concerned about cold air simply wrap the small space between the hose and floor

Well I broke one water pump already by freezing it repeatedly so I like to keep it buttoned up.

I am in NM at the moment and it has been as low as 10 though usually it is is the 20s.

Glad to see that youa're getting it all worked out!
I bought a 2' extension hose... it's easier to wrangle up through the opening, and hook up to the swiveling elbow".
