Smile Class C rear view mirror

Has anyone removed the wind shield mirror in their Class C.

The mirror in a Class C really makes no sense. I want to install one of those Dash Cams on the windshield in place of the mirror

Yes. I removed one from my former 2015 Four Wind E-350 Chassis. I replaced it with a rear view camera display. Many You Tubes out there to show you how or take it to an automotive glass shop.

I actually ADDED a mirror to my Class A diesel pusher, so that I could 'see' what's happening in the coach while I'm driving : )

I also appreciated the rear view mirror in my class C so I could see when my wife was standing or walking and I could try to make sure to warn her of curves or bumps in the road. I’d add one to y current t coach (class A) but the drop down bed makes it problematic.

I was going to say I like having the rear view so I can see what’s going on. Much easier then turning around while you are driving

rear view mirror

Well ,I took a chance and removed my review mirror on my 30fe class c. All it took was a long handle flat head screwdriver.
Put it between the metal base and the plastic bracket and twist and pried and it popped right off.
Now I have to see about removing the metal base that is on the windshield. Thinking about a solder gun. Might get hot enough to melt glue but not so hot to crack the glass.
