since the GFCI is very sensitive for what it does, and a 'ground' could easily cause it to trip, I imagine that either there is a grounding issue with the circuit, or, because it is a circuit tied into/out of the Inverter, that something about how the inverter is installed/grounded is suspect.... while many of us don't have these issues, I imagine that it can be VERY FRUSTRATING for owners who do - my hats off to you for putting up with it, and getting 'creative' in how you handle it!

I don’t have an Aria and don’t mean to be Captain Obvious....but have you tried replacing the GFCI with a high quality one from an industrial electrical supply? Many on the market are cheap Chinese products that barely work and I’d be surprised if the OE item wasn’t one of them. In any case I hope you all can find the fix!

I had the same problem originally. I discussed it with my brother who is a Master Electrician and we decided to change out the GFI outlet in the half bath with a heavy duty commercial one. Got it at Home Depot and changed it about a year and a half ago and it has not tripped since. Everything seems to work fine and it still trips when I test it with a GFI tester as required.

Go buy a Leviton brand GF outlet.
