Axis chassis battery charging

I have my newly acquired 2015 Axis in my shop and plugged in to keep the house batteries charged.
My question is will this also charge my rig's chassis battery, or will I need to put a trickle charger on it?

If you have a bird relay ....yes
If you have a delay isolation relay. ...then no.

Thor uses both.

Take a voltmeter and see if the chassis battery is 13 + or so. That will tell you if it's a bidirectional relay. If 12 +. Then its not.

Early Axis/Vegas units used the RV Custom Products Battery Control Center (BCC) board, later ones use a BIRD. Not sure where the changeover was made (our 2014 has the BCC).

Regardless: Both configurations are supposed to charge the chassis battery when plugged in (at least our unit with the BCC does charge the chassis battery when plugged in).
