Axis/Vegas TV Mount

On my 25.4 there is a TV over the door, which I believe is common on many Axis/Vegas. Question: Is there a way to unlock the TV over the door and swing it out? I've looked at it and tried to move it to look, but I'm afraid I'll break something.

Thanks

The TV over the door doesn't move, take a look at post #954 in the Axis/Vegas mods and you can see how I remedied the TV situation.

Nope, That should have been factory on our rigs IMO. I purchased the Moreride TV mount off of Amazon. Works great. But you have to purchase the adaptor plate as well. Not cheap but it works well. Have a lever you pull down to unlock then put back in when done it will lock automatically.

Some folk have used the outside TV bracket on the inside.

Adapter plate mounts to where the original mount was?

Yes, for OEM TV. Other TV's might bolt up just fine.

Does this mean that the outside TV bracket moves? I have a 2016 25.2 and really don't need to be pulling on that thing to find out

Yes, well at least on my model. The early ones may not articulate. Give it a tug, just has 4 magnets holding it closed on mine.

I have a question about how to remove the exterior TV........I want to move it into the bedroom on an 2015 Axis 25.2. Anyone have any knowledge/experience on doing that?
Thanks in advance

I had our dealer do that on our 2016 Vegas 25.2 when we purchased it. They used the same bracket straps and just screwed them into the frame in the bedroom. When I replaced the Succky TV I had to move the straps out, which required new holes. It might be a good time to upgrade that TV when you relocate it.

At that time, the outside TV was optional, and so was the bedroom TV. If you didn't order the outside TV, you didn't get that cabinet.
