Axxera Issue

Have a 2016 Challenger 37KT, My axxera is acting up, I think the issue is in the turn signal stalk as i have multiple issue's, when driving my rear camera will go off and on sometime regularly (every few second, or sometimes it works OK), some times when I use the turn signal the camera will not change over to the side camera, and if i have the stalk in the neutral position to so I can use to flash vehicles trying to get back in, some time it works and sometimes the bright lamp warning just stays on the dash even if I did not use the stalk .
Is this something to take to an RV dealer or do I need to go to Ford Dealer
Thanks
Ted Tube

Might want to call your dealer to confirm but if the issue is in the steering column stalk it will more than likely need to go to a Ford Dealer. It should be covered under the 3 year chassis warranty.

As a note, unlike some other Thor models, the Challenger uses the standard Ford F53 stalk for turn signals, wipers and high beams.

tmtube, we are close to buying a 2017 37kt, sorry to hear about your issue with the Axxera. We would love to hear about your thoughts of the floor plan and any other issues you have experienced with the 37KT.

We bought a 2017 37KT in March while in TX for the winter. After we got home we found that the main slide out was delivered with out the interior seals, and some of the rollers were incorrectly installed. After calling the Factory Warranty folks they are working with a dealer to correct the issues. As far as the floor plan we love it. It is the defining reason we purchased it.

A lot of times, it seems like the wiring harness is not seated properly. I took the dash top off (4 screws) and unplugged and then plugged in the harnesses and then wire-tied them together to make sure they do not come apart. There is a lot of room under there for the wires to move with normal driving not to mention the road bumps. Also, when I took off the dash cover, I cleaned up a lot of the wires so it didn't look like a rats nest.

We like our 2016 37KT, but the main slide has had to be repaired 2X now, Once for 3 broken rollers in the floor, and once for the motor that drives the slides, and I am still not 100% confident that it is right, also I AM NOW Having electrical issues with the lights and cameras, not easy finding people who want to work on the issues, and way to far away from the factory to see them

Thanks for the hint, took it off and you are right tons of room, tried to unplug and re plug like you suggested, a valiant try but it was unsuccessful, Thanks for the good tip, I think for me now the question remains, is this a ford issue or do I start at an RV dealer?

Don't know where in AZ you are, but there must be a Thor authorized dealer in the Phoenix area. That would IMO be you best bet. I had half the light inside suddenly stop working, when I pulled the rear slide in one time. Dealer found some floor framework had come loose under the slide, and ripped some of the wiring out. I'm fortunate the nearby dealer, other than being constantly swamped, seems pretty competent. From what I have discovered no independent shop will have anything to do with a warrantee issue on a Thor, non-warrantee, and extended warrantee, yes, but not warrantee. It has to go to a Thor authorized warrantee dealer.
