Bad scent from washer/dryer

Good morning, getting foul odor from w/d closet. Have run water thru to see if maybe trap was empty.
Seemed to help some but still there if u open doors.
Ideas? Thx Dennis.

May be a little mold in your washer, if your machine is a front loader leave the door open when you aren't using your coach so it can dry out. Clean the rubber seals with a 1:10 bleach solution and then run the machine thru a hot wash cycle with a full cup of bleach and laundry detergent, make sure it's empty first! Hopefully this will fix your problem.

That's the nature of front loading machines, they hold a few gallons of water all the time. Ours has a "drain" cycle that runs for 2 minutes & after doing the laundry run it through that cycle & DW puts a small fan in the machine with the door open for couple hours then no smell. Those new scented beads by Downy also help keep the smell out. Ours in the house was the same so when it was time to replace it it wasn't/won't ever be a front loader.

We have a front loader at home, my wife leaves the door open when she's finished and we never have an odor problem.

We also have a front loader at home and occasionally run a cleaning cycle with this stuff in it:
Tide Washing Machine Cleaner (Amazon). Just don't read the reviews ! LOL. It does leave a smell so if you were to use it in an RV I'd do it with all the windows open and any and all fantastic fans going full blast.

Yep. Front loader at home also. They are all correct here, leave the door open when not in use (just a few inches) and there won't be any odors.

Say you're not missing a dog or cat are you??
